  2. 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened

  3. 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  4. 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice

  5. 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

  6. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  7. 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce

  1. Clam dip served with some salty potato chips is just one of those appetizers that our guests can't get enough of and it's so much better when you make it yourself. No preservative after taste, just a really good tasting clam dip and it's very simple to put together. Preparation : Drain the clams in a strainer, reserving the liquid. Put the cream cheese in a medium-size bowl. Add the clams, Worcestershire, lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper and hot sauce. Using a hand mixer, blend well (the mixture will be stiff.) Gradually add clam juice, just a few teaspoons at a time, until the dip has the consistency you want.
