  5. 3/4 c Maple syrup

  6. 1/4 c Sugar

  7. 1 Egg white

  8. 1 ts Light corn syrup

  9. 1/8 ts Salt

  10. Recipe by: Jo Merrill Use only pure maple syrup for this recipe.

  11. Place all ingredients in top of double boiler. Beat mixture for 1 minute

  12. with electric or rotary beater.

  13. Place mixture over boiling water and cook, beating constantly until stiff

  14. 7 minutes

  15. actively boiling throughout and scrape the mixture from sides of pan with

  16. rubber spatula several times during cooking.

  17. Remove frosting from heat and continue to beat until cool and of

  18. spreading consistency.
