  1. 1 tbsp sugar hot filter coffee

  2. 1-2 tbsp softly whipped double cream

  1. Irish coffee Method 1. Pour the whisky into a serving glass and add the sugar.

  2. Top up the whisky with coffee, leaving about a half inch gap from the top of the glass.

  3. Dip a spoon in hot water, then gently spoon the whipped cream onto the surface of the coffee. Serve.
