  1. 3 lb. stewing beef

  2. 2 cans tomato sauce

  3. 2 cans chopped green chiles

  4. 2 cup water

  5. 2 cup long-grained white rice, uncooked

  6. 1 tsp. salt

  1. In a large Dutch oven, combine the meat, sauce, salt, water and green chiles. Bring to a boil, stir, reduce heat, cover. Simmer 45 minutes to one hour. Meanwhile, cook rice according to package directions. Serve sauce hot over cooked rice.
