  2. 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

  3. 1/4 cup dijon mustard

  4. 1/2 to 1 teaspoon ground pepper

  5. 1/2 cup olive oil Water

  1. In a medium bowl, using a wire whisk, whip together the preserves, vinegar, mustard and pepper, until thoroughly emulsified. Gradually whisk in 1/2 cup olive oil, then 1/2 cup of water (more, if desired).
