  1. 1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey

  2. 1 cup onion (diced)

  3. 1 cup bell pepper (diced)

  4. 1 cup celery (diced)

  5. 1 large head cabbage (shredded)

  6. 1 small bag baby carrots (shredded)

  7. 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  8. 1 tsp. oregano

  9. 3 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce

  10. salt and pepper to taste

  11. 2 cups cooked rice

  12. 1/2 the onion, bell pepper and celery. Drain well and rinse the meat with very hot water. This will remove a little more fat from it. In a Dutch Oven, place beef and all other ingredients except rice. Add about 1 cup of water. Cover and steam until vegetables reach desired doneness. Maybe

  13. 45 minutes or so. Watch it carefully as you don't want it to stick. Add more water if needed. Add rice and mix in well. Simmer a few minutes to flavor the rice. Serve hot.
