  1. 6 Chocolate wafers - crushed

  2. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Light cream cheese

  3. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Sugar

  4. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Low-fat cottage cheese

  5. 6 tablespoons 90ml Unsweetened cocoa

  6. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Flour

  7. 1/4 cup 59ml Amareto

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla

  9. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Salt

  10. 2 tablespoons 30ml Mini chocolate chips

  11. Chocolate curls -

  1. Sprinkle chocolate wafers over bottom of a 7" Springform pan. Set aside. Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add cream cheese add all other ingredients except for egg and chocolate chips.

  2. Blend until smooth. add egg and blend just until mixed in. Fold in chocolate chips and bake at 300F f for 65 to 70 minutes.

  3. Let cool in pan, on wire rack. Cover and chill for at least 8 hours.

  4. Remove sides of pan and transfer cake to serving platter. Garnish with chocolate curls if desired.
