  7. 6 large hard-cooked eggs

  8. 3 ounces smoked salmon -- thinly sliced

  9. 2 ounces cream cheese -- softened

  10. 2 tablespoons sour cream

  11. 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

  12. Salt and pepper -- to taste

  13. 2 tablespoons minced fresh dill

  14. Dill sprigs -- for garnish

  15. Cut a paper-thin slice off both ends of eggs and halve eggs crosswise. In a small food processor blend yolks, salmon, cream cheese, sour cream, lemon

  16. juice, and salt and pepper to taste until smooth.

  17. Add minced dill and process until mixture is just combined. Transfer filling to a pastry bag fitted with a large leaf or other decorative

  18. tip.

  19. Just before serving, pipe filling into whites, mounding it, and garnish eggs.
