  1. INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

  2. This is a high fiber, no fat, low calorie, delicious, and nutritious bread. It's also easy to make in a food processor.

  3. Process in food processor for 20 seconds: spice (or 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1/2 tsp. allspice) 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. all-purpose flour (can substitute 1/2 c. oatmeal flour or 1/2 c. wheat germ for 1/2 c. of the flour)

  4. Pour into a large mixing bowl. Add: 1/2 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

  5. 2 eggs or equivalent egg substitute

  6. 1 tsp. vanilla

  7. 1/4 c. skim milk

  8. 2 unpeeled apples, cored, cut in sm. chunks

  9. 3 tbsp. honey or fructose syrup or 9 tsp. sugar

  10. 375 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes. This makes

  11. 20 slices, about 90 calories per slice. It freezes well.
