  1. 1 cup quick-cooking oats

  2. 1 1/2 cups water

  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  4. 1 tablespoon brown sugar (or Splenda)

  5. 1/2 banana

  6. 2 tablespoons walnuts

  7. 1/3 cup milk

  1. Add salt to water. Bring water to boiling point and add oats. Boil for one minute. Remove and pour into serving bowl. (If using old fashioned oats use 3/4 cup of oats and 1 1/2 cups water. Boil for 5 minutes.)

  2. Top oats with brown sugar, sliced banana and walnuts. Pour milk over oatmeal. (May use more milk if preferred.).

  3. Enjoy!
