  1. 2 lbs. fresh deshelled & deveined (may use 1 1/2 lbs thawed frozen shrimp instead)

  2. 1/4 cup olive oil

  3. 3 bay leaves

  4. 1/4 tsp rosemary

  5. 1/4 tsp oregano

  6. 1/4 tsp basil

  7. 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

  8. 1/4 tsp salt (preferably sea salt)

  9. 2 cloves garlic chopped finely

  10. 1/4 cup dry white wine

  1. Add olive oil to hot skillet. Add 2 cloves of garlic chopped and saute. While garlic is sauteing add rosemary, oregano, basil, bay leaves, salt and black pepper. Saute garlic and spices for about 3 minutes. Now add cleaned shrimp and saute till pink. Turn up skillet to high heat and add white wine. Cook on high heat (stay by stove and stir ingredients) till wine evaporates. Remove bay leaves and serve with brown rice and a green salad. Yield: serves 4 Notes: Be sure to watch and stir dish carefully when cooking so nothing burns. The aroma is intoxicating! Serve over brown rice with light green salad and enjoy!
