  1. 6 oz lean beef sirloin steak

  2. 1 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

  3. 1/2 cup sliced onion

  4. 3 garlic cloves, minced

  5. 1/2 cup beef broth

  6. 1/4 cup tomato sauce

  7. 3 tbsp sherry or red wine

  8. 3/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  9. 1/4 tsp salt

  10. 1/4 tsp pepper

  11. 1/3 cup light sour cream

  12. 1 cup hot cooked egg noodles

  13. 2 tsp chopped parsley

  1. Slice steak into 1/4 -inch wide strips and cook about 3 minutes in nonstick pan. Drain and add mushrooms, onion and garlic, then saute 2 minutes. Add broth, tomato sauce, sherry, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover, and lower heat; simmer 50 minutes until meat is tender. Stir in sour cream; heat through but do not boil. Spoon over the egg noodles and sprinkle with parsley.
