  5. 3/4 c White sugar

  6. 1/2 c Brown sugar

  7. 3 tb Cornstarch

  8. 1 ts Vanilla

  9. 1 ts Nutmeg

  10. 1/4 lb Butter or margarine

  11. 1/2 c Milk

  12. 2 Eggs, separated

  13. 1 9 unbaked pastry shell

  14. Mix sugars and cornstarch, add milk and cook a little.

  15. Add butter and egg yolks and bring to a good boil.

  16. Remove from fire and add beaten egg whites, vanilla

  17. and nutmeg. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 325

  18. degrees until firm and brown, about 30-35 mins. Mrs.
