  3. 1/4 cup salad oil

  4. 1 medium onion -- grated

  5. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  6. 1 tablespoon dry mustard

  7. 3/4 teaspoon dried herbs -- such as thyme,

  8. -- marjoram, rosemary,

  9. -- oregano

  10. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  11. 1/8 teaspoon salt

  12. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper -- fresh ground

  13. 1/4 teaspoon allspice

  1. Blend all ingredients well. Use as a marinade for beef, veal, lamb, or chicken. Use remaining marinade to baste during barbequing.
