DELUXE JALEPENO CORNBREAD

    1. 1 c Yellow cornmeal

    2. 17 oz Whole kernel corn

    3. 1/2 ts Baking soda

    4. 3/4 ts Salt

    5. 1 Jalepeno peppers -chopped

    6. 2 Eggs -beaten

    7. 1 c Buttermilk Pimento -chopped

    8. 1/2 c Margarine -melted

    9. 1 c Cheddar cheese -grated

    10. 1 md Onion -chopped

    1. Mix all ingredients except cheese. Pour into a well-greased 9×9′ pan. Place the 1 C. cheese on top. Bake at 350^ for 45 minutes. Serves 4-6 people.
