  1. Sauerkraut Relish

  2. 3 cans sauerkraut (27 oz each)

  3. 2 c sugar

  4. 1 c honey

  5. 1 1/2 c salad oil

  6. 3 T caraway seed

  7. 1 T salt

  8. 1/2 c pickled sweet red pepper, minced

  9. Combine all ingredients, except pepper, and simmer 2 hours. Stir

  10. occasionally to prevent sticking. Stir in pepper, pour into hot

  11. sterilized jars and seal. Makes about 4 pints.
