  2. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  3. 3/4 cup 120g / 4 1/5oz Basmati rice

  4. 1/2 cup 118ml Lemon (medium)

  5. 1 tablespoon 15ml Chopped fresh thyme

  6. 1 Freshly-ground white pepper

  1. Recipe Instructions In a medium pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the salt and basmati rice. Grate the rind from the lemon and add it to the rice. Squeeze the juice from the lemon into the rice. Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover the pot tightly and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
