  2. Cheese & Onion Fondue

  5. 1 oz Butter

  6. 1 lg Onion -- finely chopped

  7. 2 ts Plain flour

  8. 5 Fluid ounces thick sour

  9. Cream

  10. 8 oz Gruyere cheese -- grated

  11. 8 oz Cheddar cheese -- grated

  12. 1 tb Chives -- chopped

  13. Pepper

  14. sm Cooked potatoes -- to serve

  15. sm Cooked sausages -- to serve

  16. Melt butter in saucepan, cook onion for 4-5 minutes

  17. until soft. Stir in flour, then add cream, cook for 2

  18. minutes. Continue to cook whilst adding cheeses and heat until mixture is smooth, stirring frequently. Add

  19. chives and season with pepper. Pour into fondue pot

  20. and serve with the potatoes and sausages.
