  1. 4 pounds fryer or roasting chicken

  2. 1/4 cup onions -- chopped

  3. 2 tablespoons margarine or butter juice of one lemon

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  5. 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or dried parsley flakes

  6. 1/4 teaspoon leaf thyme

  7. 1/4 teaspoon paprika

  1. Preparation : Rinse chicken well and pat dry; remove any excess fat. Place onion in hte cavity of the chicken and rub the skin with butter or margarine. Place chicken in Crock pot, squeeze the juice of th elemon over the chicken and sprinkle with remaining seasoning .
