  3. 1 pound ground beef

  4. 1 envelope spaghetti sauce mix

  5. 1 pound ricotta cheese

  6. 8 ounces lasagna noodles -- uncooked

  7. 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or oregano

  8. 1 tablespoon dried parsley

  9. salt

  10. 1 16 ounce can crushed tomatoes

  11. 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce

  12. 1 cup water

  13. 8 ounces mozzeralla cheese -- shredded

  1. Brown meat in fry pan and sprinkle with half spaghetti sauce mix. Spoon ricotta over mixture and cover with half the noodles.Add seasonings, tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Lay on remaining noodles. Push down slightly to moisten. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 35 minutes or until noodles are tender.

  2. Sprinkle cheese over top, cover and let stand 5 minutes.
