  1. 1 chicken fryer -- cut in

  2. 8 pieces 1/4 cup seasoned flour

  3. 2 tablespoons butter

  4. 4 cups squash -- sliced or cubed

  5. 1 large onion -- cut into rings

  6. 1 large tomato -- chopped

  7. 1 teaspoon salt

  8. 1/2 teaspoon crushed basil

  9. 1/4 teaspoon marjoram -- optional

  10. 1/4 teaspoon dried chives -- optional

  11. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  12. 1/4 teaspoon paprika -- optional

  1. Preparation : Coat chicken with seasoned flour. In large skillet, melt butter; add chicken. Cook 10 minutes or until brown on all sides. Remove chicken. In skillet, cook squash and onion 5 minutes. Return chicken to skillet; add tomato. Add all remaining ingredients except paprika. Reduce heat to low; cook, covered, 40 minutes or until done. Sprinkle with paprika.
