  1. Pie Crust

  2. 1/3 cup shortening

  3. 1/3 cup butter

  4. 2 cups all purpose flour

  5. 1/2 tsp salt

  6. 1/2 tsp baking powder

  7. 1/3 plus 1 tablespoon boiling water

  8. Cut or rub shortening and butter into flour, add salt, baking

  9. powder, then boiling water, mix to form dough. Divide in half.

  10. Makes 9" top and bottom crust. Can be refrigerated or used right

  11. away.
