  1. Real Orange Cake

  2. Yield: 6 servings

  3. 1 c margarine

  4. 1 3/4 c sugar

  5. 3 eggs

  6. 2 ts orange extract

  7. 3 c flour

  8. 1/4 ts baking soda

  9. 2 ts baking powder

  10. 1 ts orange rind (finely grated)

  11. 1 1/4 c orange juice and pulp, approximately

  12. 4 oranges

  13. Cream margarine and sugar until light and creamy. Add eggs one at

  14. a time and beat well after each. Sift flour, salt, baking powder,

  15. baking soda and orange rind. Mix dry ingredients with creamed mix,

  16. alternately, with orange juice, pulp and orange extract. Pour into prepared pans and bake at 350 until cake tests done.
