  1. 1 cup 93g / 3 1/3oz Cranberries

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Plus 1/2 cup sugar - divided

  3. 2 1/3 cups 145g / 5.1oz Flour - divided

  4. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Rolled oats

  5. 1/2 cup 80g / 2.8oz Packed light brown sugar

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Baking soda

  7. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Butter or margarine - melted

  8. 1 1/2 cups 219g / 7.7oz Chopped dates

  9. 1/3 cup 48g / 1.7oz Chopped walnuts - toasted

  10. 1 cup 237ml Caramel ice cream topping

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. In small bowl, combine cranberries and 2 T sugar; set aside. In medium bowl stir together 2 c flour, oats, 1/2 c sugar, brown sugar, and baking soda. Stir in melted butter, blend well. Reserve 1c crumb mixture. Press remaining crumbs in bottom of 9x13-inch baking pan.

  3. Bake 15 minutes.

  4. Sprinkle dates, walnuts and cranberry mixture evenly over crust. Stir together caramel topping and remaining 1/3 cup flour; drizzle over fruits and nuts.

  5. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Return to oven for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
