  7. 2 c Water

  8. 1 t Salt

  9. 4 c Apples

  10. 1/2 pk Raisins

  11. 1 pk Raisins

  12. 1 c Orange peel

  13. 1 c Citron

  14. 1/2 lb Suet

  15. 1 c Molasses

  16. 1 c Sugar

  17. 2 c Coffee

  18. 1 c Cider (or fruit juice)

  19. 1 t Cinnamon

  20. 1 t Nutmeg

  21. 1/2 ts Cloves

  22. 1/2 ts Allspice

  23. 1) Simmer beef in water and salt

  24. til very

  25. tender, drain & reserve stock and chopped meat. 2)

  26. Combine in a large kettle the meat, the remaining

  27. ingredients, and 1 cup of the beef stock, stirring

  28. over low heat

  29. til thoroughly mixed. 3) Continue

  30. cooking over low heat for about 2 hours or most of the

  31. liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally during

  32. cooking and more often as mixture thickens.
