  1. 1 cup (8-ounces) plain lowfat yogurt, or any flavor as desired 1 cup 2% milk or any flavored fruit juice 1 medium banana, sliced 1 cup whole strawberries, or your choice of fruit, cut-up as needed (fresh or frozen) 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 8 to 10 ice cubes (see Cook's Note)

  1. Place all ingredients, except the ice cubes, into container of electric blender and blend on high until smooth.

  2. With blender running, add 2 to 3 ice cubes at a time through the center opening in the lid until all ice cubes have been added. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
