  1. 1/2 pounds Raisins

  2. 1 1/2 cup Brown sugar

  3. 1 cup Shortening; scant

  4. 3 eaches Eggs

  5. 1 cup Walnuts; english

  6. 1 teaspoon Baking powder

  7. 1 teaspoon Baking soda

  8. 1 teaspoon Vanilla

  9. 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

  10. 3 tablespoons Raisin juice

  11. 3 cups Flour

  12. teaspoon Salt

  1. Cook and cool raisins. Mix and drop by spoonful on baking sheet. Bake in moderately hot oven for 15 minutes.
