  1. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Chopped onion

  2. 1 tablespoon 15ml Margarine

  3. 1 tablespoon 15ml Flour

  4. 1/2 Chicken broth - (5 oz)

  5. 1/2 Water - (5 oz)

  6. 10 oz 284g Frozen chopped broccoli

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Tarragon

  8. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Garlic powder

  9. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Thyme

  10. Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

  11. 1 cup 237ml Skim milk

  1. Saute onion in margarine until soft. Add flour and cook for one minute, stirring constantly. Add chicken broth and water gradually and stir until well-blended. Add broccoli and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook until broccoli is tender (about 15 minutes). Add milk and simmer another 5 minutes.
