  1. 14 oz 397g Pineapple - crushed

  2. 1/2 tablespoon 7 1/2ml Gelatin - unflavored

  3. 1/2 cup 118ml Water

  4. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Sugar

  5. 2 Egg whites - stiffly beaten

  6. 2 cups 220g / 7.8oz Whip topping - mixed, chilled

  1. Mix Dream Whip or similar whipped topping according to package directions in small mixer bowl. Remove to another container and chill.

  2. Drain pineapple juice over the gelatin in medium saucepan and let dissolve about 10 min. Add 1/2 c water, 1/2 c sugar and heat to boiling.

  3. Pour mixture over pineapple in large mixer bowl and let stand until cold. Stir in beaten egg whites and whipped topping. Serve in small bowls or stem glasses with a piece of cherry on top.
