  1. 1 ready made sponge flan case

  2. 115g (4 oz) fresh fruit, eg strawberries, raspberries or cherries

  3. 100ml (2 scoops) Carte D'Or Chocolate Inspiration

  4. 2 egg whites

  5. 85g (3 oz) caster sugar

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 C / Gas 7. Spread the base of the flan with the fresh fruit.

  2. Beat the egg whites until stiff, fold in the sugar and beat again until glossy. Place the Carte D’Or Chocolate Inspiration over the fruit. Spoon meringue over the ice-cream and flan case to cover completely.

  3. Bake immediately in preheated oven for 3 to 5 minutes until meringue is lightly browned. Serve immediately.
