  1. 1 ea minced, garlic clove

  2. 12 Lrg.freshly-shucked oysters

  3. 6 Thin slices smoked bacon, Cut in half

  4. 2 T Minced Parsley

  5. 12 Wooden toothpicks, Unflavored and not colored

  6. 1 tb Lemon juice or crisp

  7. 1/4c Dry wine

  1. + Directions : Cut each slice of bacon in half crosswise and lengthwise. Wrap bacon slices around shucked oysters. Preheat broiler. Line broiling pan with a layer of crushed foil. In a small bowl combine parsley with garlic. Place 1/2 teaspoon of parsley mixture on to each oyster. Combine tablespoon of lemon juice & white wine. Dot each oyster with a little of the wine mixture. Broil about 4 inches from heat. Edges of oysters will curl and bacon will brown when done. Cooking time about 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
