  2. 2 pounds round steak cut in good sized cubes

  3. 2 onions, sliced

  4. 1 clove garlic, minced

  5. 2 green peppers, shredded

  6. 3 cups canned tomato or 2 pounds fresh tomatoes

  7. 1 teaspoon salt

  8. 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  9. 2 tablespoons Argo or Kingsford's Cornstarch

  10. 1 tablespoon corn syrup

  11. 2 tablespoons corn oil

  12. 1/2 cup sliced, stuffed olives

  13. 2 or 3 tablespoons grape juice

  1. Toss cubed steak in the cornstarch until completely covered. Set aside.

  2. Fry the garlic, onions and peppers in corn oil.

  3. Add the meat cubes and fry until meat in browned on the outside.

  4. Pour in the corn syrup and tomatoes, add salt, pepper and grape juice.

  5. Transfer to a casserole, cover and bake two hours in a moderate oven.

  6. Just before serving, garnish with the olives.

  7. Serve with mashed potato.
