  1. 1 cup chopped walnuts

  2. 7 ounces marshmallow cream

  3. 1 1/2 cups sugar

  4. 2/3 cup evaporated milk

  5. 1/4 cup butter

  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  7. 12 ounces butterscotch chips

  8. 1 teaspoon orange extract

  9. 1 teaspoon grated orange rind

  1. foil-lined 8" square pan.

  2. spread 1/2C walnuts evenly on bottom of pan.

  3. set aside.

  4. in heavy gauge saucepan combine marshmallow cream, sugar, evaporated milk, butter & salt.

  5. bring to a full rolling boil over moderate heat stirring consistently.

  6. boil 5min. stirring consistently.

  7. remove from heat.

  8. add butterscotch 9 stir until morsels melt & mixture is smooth.

  9. stir in orange extract & orange rind.

  10. pour into prepared pan sprinkling remaining 1/2C walnuts on top.

  11. chill until firm or about 2 hours.

  12. makes 2/1/3lbs. ?
