  1. 49A-- 1 c Quick cooking rolled oats

  2. 1/2 c Whole bran cereal

  3. 1/3 c Whole wheat flour

  4. 1/3 c Brown sugar, packed

  5. 1/4 ts Baking soda

  6. 1/2 ts Cinnamon

  7. 1/4 ts Nutmeg

  8. 1/4 ts Ginger

  9. 1/2 c Butter or margarine

  10. 1 pk Regular butterscotch pudding -mix,

  11. 4 oz pkg. 1 1/4 c Milk

  12. 22 oz Apple pie filling

  13. 1 ts Finely shredded lemon peel

  14. 2 tb Lemon juice

  1. Mix oats, cereal, flour, sugar, soda and spices. Cut in butter or margarine until crumbly. Pat half the mixture into a 8x8x2 inch baking dish. Bake in 350~ oven 10 minutes. Prepare pudding mix according to package directions except use the 1 1/2 cups milk. Pour over crumb layer. Mix remaining ingredients; spoon over pudding. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake, uncovered, in 350~ oven 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm or cool with ice cream, if desired.
