  1. 448 g package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed

  2. 2 cups heavy whipping cream

  3. 1 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

  4. 1/4 cup sliced green onions

  5. 1 tsp. salt

  6. 1/4 tsp. pepper

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly coat the inside of a 6 cup baking dish with cooking spray. Combine the thawed hash browns, cream, 1 1/4 cups cheddar, green onions, salt and pepper in a large bowl and stir well. Spoon the potato mixture into the prepared dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup cheddar over the top. Bake about 35 to 45 minutes until bubbly and and golden brown. Serve hot.
