  1. INGREDIENTS:

  2. Thuvar dhall 1/2 cup

  3. Urad dhall 1 t.spoon

  4. Channa dhall 1/2 t.spoon

  5. Pepper 1/2 t.spoon

  6. Cumin seeds 1/4 t.spoon

  7. Red Chilli 1

  8. Hing a small pinch

  9. Turmeric 1/4 t.spoon

  10. Tomatoes 2-3 washed & chopped

  11. Curry leaves a few

  12. Ghee 1/2 t.spoon

  13. Salt 3/4 t.spoon

  14. DIRECTIONS:

  15. Cook thuvar dhall with turmeric, with 2 cups of water.

  16. Fry urad dhall, channa dhall, pepper and red chilli in little

  17. oil. Wet grind the above with cumin seeds.

  18. Mix the masala with the cooked thuvar dhall and let it boil for sometime.

  19. Heat some ghee, splutter mustard, then add hing, and curry leaves

  20. and add this to the rasam.
