  1. 3/4 cup 46g / 1.6oz All-purpose flour

  2. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)

  3. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Baking powder

  4. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  5. 1/3 cup 78ml Milk

  6. 1 Egg - slightly beaten

  7. 15 1/2 oz 440g Garbanzo beans - drained

  8. 15 oz 426g Kidney beans - drained

  9. 8 oz 227g Tomato sauce

  10. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Chopped green bell pepper (about 1 small)

  11. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Chopped onion (about 1 small)

  12. 2 teaspoons 10ml Chili powder

  13. 2 teaspoons 10ml Fresh oregano

  14. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Dried oregano leaves

  15. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Garlic powder

  1. Heat oven to 375º. Spray pie plate, 10 × 1 1/2 inches, with nonstick cooking spray. Mix flour, 1/2 cup of the cheese, the baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Stir in milk and egg until blended. Spread over bottom and up sides of pie plate.

  2. Mix remaining ingredients except 1/2 cup cheese. Spoon into pie plate;

  3. sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake uncovered about 25 minutes or until edge is puffy and light brown. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
