  1. 1 lb Beef , ground

  2. 1/2 c Onion, chopped

  3. 3/4 c Water

  4. 1/4 ts Pepper

  5. 8 oz Tomato sauce

  6. 6 oz Tomato paste

  7. 9 oz Green giant harvest fresh

  8. -frozen mixed vegetables,

  9. -thawed

  10. 8 oz Mozzarella cheese, shredded

  11. 10 oz Hungry jack refrigerated

  12. -buttermilk biscuits

  13. 1 tb Margarine or butter, melted

  14. 1/2 ts Oregano leaves, dried, crush

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Grease 12X8-inch (2-qt) baking dish.

  3. In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain.

  4. Stir in water, pepper, tomato sauce and tomato paste; simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Remove from heat; stir in vegetables and 1 1/2 cups of the cheese.

  6. Spoon mixture into greased baking dish.

  7. Seperate dough into 10 biscuits.

  8. Separate each biscuit into 2 layers.

  9. Place biscuits near oter edge of hot meat mixture, overlapping slightly.

  10. Sprinkle remaining cheese in center and around edge.

  11. Gently brush biscuits with margarine, sprinkle with oregano.

  12. Bake for 22-27 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
