  1. 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  2. 1/4 cup SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated

  3. 1 pinch salt

  4. 1/3 cup boiling water

  5. 3 1/2 cups nonfat milk

  6. 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  7. 1/2 cup fat-free half-and-half

  1. Mix together the cocoa, SPLENDA Granulated Sweetener, and pinch of salt in a saucepan. Blend in the boiling water. Bring this mixture to an easy boil while you stir. Simmer, and stir for about 2 minutes. Watch that it doesn’t scorch.

  2. Stir in 3 1/2 cups of milk and heat until very hot, but do not boil! Remove from heat, and add vanilla.

  3. Divide between 4 mugs. Pour 2 tablespoons half-and-half into each mug of cocoa and serve.
