  1. 1 c. flour

  2. 1/2 c. shortening

  3. 1/4 c. water

  4. Pinch of salt

  1. Cut shortening into flour; add water and salt; knead gently just to mix. Roll on floured surface, or pastry cloth.

  2. 1/2 times this recipe makes enough for a lattice top. Double the recipe for a two crust pie. Use leftover dough to make pie crust cookie roll. Roll dough, top with cinnamon, sugar and bake at 425 degrees. Watch carefully.
