  1. Bean, Barley & Sausage Soup

  2. Yield: 6 servings

  3. 1 lb kidney beans

  4. 1 pk smoked Polish sausage, sliced

  5. 7 c water

  6. 1 c barley

  7. 2 garlic cloves; peeled

  8. 3 bay leaves

  9. Put rinsed beans in large saucepan. Add water, cover and let stand overnight.

  10. Drain off water the next day. Put beans, barley and remaining

  11. ingredients into crockpot. Stir. Cover and cook on high for 4

  12. hours. Remove bay leaves. Salt to taste when serving.
