  1. 1 cup margarine or butter -- softened

  2. 3 ounces cream cheese -- softened

  3. 1 cup sugar

  4. 1 egg -- beaten

  5. 2 tablespoons frozen orange concentrate

  6. 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  7. 1 teaspoon baking powder

  8. 8 1/2 ounces canned crushed pineapple -- drained

  1. Preparation : Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies 1. Thoroughly blend margarine and cream cheese; slowly add sugar.

  2. Add egg and juice concentrate; mix well.

  3. Sift together flour and baking powder; mix into cream cheese mixture.

  4. Fold in pineapple; chill 30 minutes.

  5. Drop by tablespoons onto greased baking sheet; bake in preheated 375 F. oven, 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool in pan.
