  1. 1 pound pork sausage

  2. 1 pound ground beef

  3. 1 onion -- chopped

  4. 28 ounces chopped tomatoes

  5. 6 ounces tomato paste

  6. 2 tablespoons vinegar

  7. 1 tablespoon chili powder

  8. 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  9. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  10. 10 cups shredded cabbage

  1. Preparation : 1. In a large kettle, brown sausage, beef and onion; drain well.

  2. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage, mix well.

  3. Stir in cabbage and simmer 20-25 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
