  1. Combine all ingredients except buttery spray in a gallon-sized re-sealable plastic bag. Seal tightly and shake vigorously until well blended. Let stand 15 minutes at room temperature, turning occasionally.

  2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat until hot. Coat the skillet with buttery spray. Remove steak from the marinade (reserving marinade), cook 5 minutes, turn and cook 3 minutes longer or until very pink in the center. Place on cutting board and let stand 5 minutes before thinly slicing.

  3. Add the reserved marinade to the skillet. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, boil 4 minutes, or until liquid measures 1/4 cup, scraping bottom and sides occasionally. Hold a fine mesh sieve over a small bowl, pour the sauce through the sieve and using the back of a teaspoon, press down to release any excess liquid. Spoon sauce over the beef slices. Sprinkle lightly with salt, if desired.

  4. Cook’s Tip This may be marinated stored in the refrigerator up to 48 hours in advance. This makes the flavors penetrate more deeply.
