  1. Meatballs:

  2. 1 pound hamburger

  3. 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

  4. 1/4 cup milk

  5. 2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion

  6. 1 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  8. 1 egg

  9. Sauce:

  10. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  11. 1 Tablespoon cornstarch

  12. 1 13 1/4 ounce can pineapple chunks

  13. 1/3 cup vinegar

  14. 1 Tablespoon soy sauce

  15. 1 small green pepper, coarsely chopped

  1. Mix meatball ingredients; shape into 20 1½ inch balls. Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally until brown, about 20 minutes; remove. Drain fat from skillet. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in skillet. Stir in pineapple (with syrup), vinegar, and soy sauce. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat. Add meatballs. Cover; simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in green pepper. Cover; simmer until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
