  1. 1 1/2L double cream

  2. 500ml milk

  3. 400g caster sugar

  4. 325g chopped black walnuts

  5. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  6. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  1. In a large bowl, stir together the cream, milk, sugar, walnuts, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Pour the mixture into the bowl of an ice cream maker and freeze as directed by the manufacturer.
