  1. 1 teaspoon Olive oil

  2. cup Minced onion

  3. 2 ounces Canadian bacon; minced

  4. 3 cups Green beans; cut into 3-inch lengths

  5. cup Low-fat; low-sodium chicken broth

  6. Fresh ground pepper

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and saut‚ for 3 minutes.

  2. Add the bacon and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes. Remove the bacon mixture from the skillet.

  3. Add the green beans and broth to the skillet. Cover and steam for 3 minutes.

  4. Return the bacon mixture to the skillet and mix well.

  5. Season with pepper and serve.
