1 Egg

1/2 c Sugar

2 tb Oil

1 1/4 c Buttermilk

1 ts Vanilla

1 c Whole wheat flour

1 c All-purpose flour

2 ts Baking powder

1 Apple; peel, core,

- thinly sliced 2 tb Cinnamon sugar

5 ingredients until blended. Beat in the next

ingredients until blended. Place batter in a lightly oiled 10 springform

pan and place apples decoratively on top. Sprinkle top with cinnamon sugar.

35-40 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted in

center, comes out clean. Allow to cool in pan. When cool, remove from pan

1 teaspoon sifted powdered sugar. Serves
