  1. 8 Lettuce leaves, broken up

  2. 1 Cucumber, sliced thin

  3. 2 Tomatoes, cut into wedges

  4. 1 Green pepper, seeded&sliced

  5. 1 Garlic clove, minced fine

  6. 3 tb Oil

  7. Salt 1 tb Vinegar

  8. 1 tb Sugar

  9. 1. Prepare and assemble all ingredients.

  10. 2. Place oil in wok and heat to smoking point. Stir fry garlic in it,

  11. 1 minute. Add cucumber and pepper, stir fry

  12. 1 minute. Add tomatoes,

  13. lettuce, stir fry another minute. Then add salt, winegar, and sugar. Stir fry all ingredients for another 3 minutes, until lettuce leaves are wilted. NOTE: The outer leaves of a lettuce can be used for this dish, instead of being discarded. This dish can be served in lieu of a tossed salad.
