  1. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Macaroni

  2. 1 teaspoon 5ml Dry mustard

  3. 1 teaspoon 5ml Butter; melted

  4. 1 cup 237ml Milk

  5. 1 Eggs; beaten

  6. 3 cups 438g / 15oz Sharp cheese; grated

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  1. Boil macaroni and drain thoroughly. Stir in butter and egg. Mix salt and mustard with 1 tbsp. hot water. Add to milk. Add the cheese, leaving enough to sprinkle on top. Pour into buttered casserole, add milk, sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350F for about 45 minutes or until custard is set and top is crusty.
